CILJ NASTAVE: Engleska knjizevnost II je pregledni kurs iz engleske knjizevnosti koji obuhvata period od 1625. g. kojom se zavrsava prethodni period renesansne knjizevnosti do 1800.g., odnosno zakljucno sa pesnicima predromanticarskog perioda. Cilj nastave je da se studenti upoznaju sa glavnim knjizevnim pravcima ovog perioda (Pozna renesansa, Restauracija, Doba klasicizma, Prosvecenost, Sentimentalizam), sa najvaznijim piscima tog vremena, kao i sa reprezentativnim delima najznacajnijih pisaca. Pored usvajanja i primene elemenata knjizevne kritike studenti bi trebalo da razviju i sposobnost kritickog misljenja, analize i poredjenja sistema vrednosti britanske kulture iskazanog kroz njihovu knjizevnost sa vrednosnim sistemom nase kulture.

ISPIT I PREDISPITNE OBAVEZE STUDENATA: Nastava je na engleskom jeziku, a ispit se polaze pismeno, na engleskom jeziku. Struktura ispita je uvek ista: prvi deo se sastoji od testa prepoznavanja dvadeset odlomaka iz programa, drugi deo sacinjavaju dva eseja kao odgovori na dva problemska pitanja, a treci deo je analiza datog odlomka, bilo poezije bilo proze. Ispit traje dva sata. Predispitne obaveze studenata se sastoje od po jednog kolokvijuma u svakom semestru, koji su uslov za izlazak na ispit.
