Predavanje prof. dr Antonia Lopesa

“A methodological framework for the design of ICT-based tasks in language learning”

Predavanje će se održati u Sali za sednice Filološkog fakulteta, Studentski trg 3, u sredu 7. juna 2017. godine u 10 sati.

António Lopes is Adjunct Professor of English Studies at the School of Education and Communication, University of Algarve, where he teaches English language, literature and culture, cultural studies and ELT. He holds a PhD in English Culture and an MA in English Literature. He is a fellow researcher of the Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS, Nova University of Lisbon), working with several research groups (Anglo-Portuguese Studies; British Culture and History; Teaching of English and Applied Language Studies; Literature, Media and Discourse Analysis). He has also participated in a number of European-funded projects and was the international coordinator of PETALL (Pan-European Task Activities for Language Learning). His publications include Is There an End of Ideologies? Exploring Constructs of Ideology and Discourse in Marxist and Post-Marxist Theories (Cambridge Scholars, 2015) and, as co-editor, 2001: What Now? Notes Towards the Definition of Culture, Identity and Literature in the Twenty-first Century (APEAA/UAlg, 2004), and Current Issues in Language Teaching: Innovating Approaches (Editorial Académica Española, 2017). Two other volumes to be published by Cambridge Scholars this year are: Diversities? Inequalities? Challenges in the Construction of an Inclusive Society (co-edited with Merja Mattos Parreira) and New Trends in Language Teaching: methods, evaluation, training (co-edited with Raúl Ruiz-Cecilia).
