      The goal Providing theoretical knowledge on the phases of the development of the Polish people and the state, the participation of the Polish people in European and non-European political processes, or the phases of the cultural development of the Polish people, its cultural and monumental heritage.
      The outcome The student will acquire orientation in the facts of Polish political and cultural history - in the function of optimizing the knowledge gained from Polish language and literature.

      Contents of lectures Cultural history. Pre-Christian period. Culture and Art of the Middle Ages. XVI century - golden age of Polish culture; Renaissance. Baroque. Enlightenment; late classicism. Romanticism. Positivism and neoromantics as a social and artistic conception. Culture and Art of the Twentieth Century: Theater, Film, Music, Architecture. Cultural institutions.
