    The goal Theoretical introduction of students to Ukrainian literature of the 19th and first decades of the 20th century, to the history of Ukrainian culture of the mentioned period, its most significant historical and cultural events, for example, the philosophical and ideological-aesthetic foundations of literary directions and movements, to the most prominent complete works of representatives of mature and late romanticism, realism, impressionism, expressionism, sociological and social-psychological prose, and classical drama in the original language.
    The outcome The student becomes familiar with presentations, illustrations, excerpts or complete works of Ukrainian literature of the 18th and first half of the 19th centuries, applies the acquired knowledge, analyzes works in the Ukrainian language, is trained for further independent acquisition of knowledge, participates in and develops skills and dexterity in discussions in the Ukrainian language, connects and applies knowledge from different fields, and compares works with the same or similar types and genres in European and world literature.

    Contents of lectures An overview of Ukrainian literature of the 19th and first decades of the 20th century, the history of Ukrainian culture of the aforementioned period, its most significant historical and cultural events, for example the philosophical and ideological-aesthetic foundations of literary movements and trends, the most prominent complete works of representatives of mature and late romanticism, realism, impressionism, expressionism, sociological and social-psychological prose, classical drama in the original language.
    Contents of exercises Using the example of presentations, illustrations, excerpts or complete works of Ukrainian literature from the 19th and first decades of the 20th centuries, the student becomes familiar with presentations, illustrations, applies the acquired knowledge, analyzes works in the Ukrainian language, is trained for further independent acquisition of knowledge, participates in and develops skills and dexterity in discussions in the Ukrainian language, connects and applies knowledge from different fields, and compares works with the same or similar types and genres in European and world literature.
