      Contents of lectures New media; new literacy; the problem of delineating the technical and the social, the public and the private, the virtual and the real; visual culture and epistolary communication; the problem of intimacy and the phenomenon of exposure, the boundaries of privacy; understanding the public sphere and the public interest; the problem of the atomization of the public and the universal, open, and democratic information-communication platform; proximity and distance in virtual space; the possibility of genuine communication; virtual sociality; the problem of social networking.
