The goal		Extension of the acquired knowledge of Polish literature of the XX century, training for creative reading, analysis and interpretation of the text.
The outcome		The student will gain a detailed insight into the Polish literature of the 20th century and be trained for independent work on the literary work.
Contents
Contents of lectures		Literature in the Polish People's Republic (socrealism; literature after the "Polish October" 1956, "new wave", postmodernism), Polish underground press, literature in emigration; literature after 1989. Historical development of literary genres. Poetics. Institutions of literary life.
Contents of exercises		Practical work on texts - analysis, interpretation, context.
