      The goal The aim of the course is to acquire systematic knowledge about the history, culture and political situation in Slovakia, as well as their influence on language and literature.
      The outcome The student will gain insight into the most representative works of Slovak cultural and artistic heritage, as well as an overview of contemporary cultural and artistic developments in Slovakia.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Overview of the history of Slovak theater, music and film with an emphasis on the contemporary situation, contemporary authors and tendencies. Dialogues, discussions on the topic of Slovak history, culture and art. Presentation of essays.
